OUR LOGISTICS NETWORK

The collection and reprocessing of the PVC-U is carried out via an extremely well-positioned network, with the central role played by REMONDIS regional companies and logistics providers. They can ensure nationwide collection of PVC leftovers via short transport routes.

OUR RECYCLING PROCESS

01 DISMANTLING

After they are removed, the old PVC-U windows are dismantled into their individual component parts and separated according to materials. 

02 GRINDING

The PVC profiles and sections, or old window materials made of PVC-U, that are provided for recycling are then ground.
Electrostatic separation

03 ELECTROSTATIC SEPARATION

The granulate is separated into the components clean PVC, rubber seal and contamination waste.
Colour sorting

04 COLOUR SORTING

As the colour determines the quality that can be fabricated in each case and therefore the value, the PVC that is going to be reprocessed is sorted by colour.
Regranulation

05 REGRANULATION

The sorted granulate is melted, homogenised and, if necessary, degassed and finally is solidified again in granulate form for further processing.

We manage the material flows for our partners and have also established the ideal logistics processes for your material flows, which ensures that RE:CORE partners receive a high level of service.

The closed Schüco/RE:CORE material cycle ensures raw/reusable material availability for RE:CORE partners. RE:CORE partners receive PVC profiles with premium recycled material via Schüco. The quality of the material is guaranteed thanks to our excellent process engineering network.

By working with us, RE:CORE partners help to preserve resources, as the use of recycled PVC avoids the production of new PVC.
